Update January 2nd 2012
Fixed a small glitch in the metacity theme where the buttons showed darker borders on the outer edges.

This is just a simple mod. I took the Ambiance GTK3 theme provided by Ubuntu and changed the colors to a more black look.

I am still messing around with it, since I haven't created a theme in a long time back with gtk2.

Hope you like it, and let me know if you come across any glitches.

ty for a great theme, since GTK3 update 3.4 the systray icons for GTK3 apps e.g (nm-applet, transmission-gtk, remmina) are all missing/broken ... could we please get an update ... ty

Been using this for a couple of months, reinstalled ubuntu the other day and am coming back to use this theme again. It looks good if you change the background to gray :)

What is the dock in the main image?

Nice work! I use it with the grey AwOken icons and I replaced your active color from purpleblue to brown(663300). The result is awesome :)

One problem I see in Unity is with the Maximize Window Control Button when the app is maximized. When you unmaximize it, you get a gray icon similar to the one in the normal ambiance theme. Other than that, PERFECT!

In marlin file browser the sidebar is not dark

i think it would be prettier if it has dark sidebar as in nautilus :D

Thanks! I will look into the Marlin file browser. I have it installed, but really didn't pay attention to the sidebar. I will fix it in the next update.
